Pink princess Tilda

Good morning bloggers. I haven't done much crafting recently because I slipped a disk and found it very difficult to sit at my table and make anything. Feeling much better now and yesterday I was able to sit and finish a card. I used one of my favourite princess Tildas and lot's of pink.

Very exciting as the Tour de France will be zooming past where I live today! I will hopefully be back later with some photos.

I decided to have a go at decorating an mdf pen pot. Not that happy with it so at some point I might take the paper and butterflies off and start again.

Handmade skirts

Good morning bloggers.
1st of May and it is pouring down with rain!
No cards today, instead I have some pretty skirts to show you that I made for my girls.

Multi coloured skulls!

Lined with pink silky fabric

Fabric cost £1.50

Ribbon, button and lace all from my scrap bag.

These skirts are so quick and easy to make. The one with the multi coloured skulls cost about £4 to make and I still have enough of the fabric to make something else. The skirt with the ballerinas only cost £1.50 as it was an remnant.  My youngest daughter loves the Disney film Frozen, she has asked me to make her a dress like Elsa from the film!  Not sure if my sewing skills are that good!
